Job summary
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People seeks a Principal Gifts Lead to develop principal and transformational giving. You will build relationships with high-net-worth individuals, craft bespoke propositions, and lead solicitations for six-figure gifts, in partnership with the Head of Philanthropy and senior stakeholders.
The role combines strategic fundraising with hands-on pipeline development, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, and working mainly from Saunderton or Bielby with UK travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of securing significant philanthropic gifts from high-net-worth individuals.
- Experience in new donor acquisition and building high-value fundraising pipelines.
- Commercial, proactive fundraising approach with strong relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Establish and grow a strong pipeline of principal giving prospects with a focus on new donor acquisition.
- Lead the cultivation and solicitation of gifts of £100,000 and above.
- Develop tailored engagement plans and manage relationships with trustees and senior stakeholders.
- Deliver against income targets and contribute to long-term philanthropy growth.
