Kier Group in Penrith, Westmorland, seeks a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to act as Designer’s Site Representative on the A66 NTP upgrade. This site-based role sits with Kier’s Structures and Geotechnical team, delivering earthworks, foundations and retaining walls.
You will provide specialist geotechnical advice, coordinate with construction and design teams, witness works and help validate as-built records for geotechnical assets on site.
We’re looking for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to act as Designer’s Site Representative on our A66 NTP site at Penrith, Westmorland. The scheme entails the major upgrade of two junctions on the A66, close to the intersection with the M6. While this is a site-based role, you will be part of our Structures and Geotechnical team. Kier are a highly regarded Main Contractor, recognised as a Top 30 employer on Glassdoor.

You will be part of our Structures and Geotechnical Design team, benefiting from their support.
