Job summary

Few&Far is seeking a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to join a growing team delivering cutting-edge AI solutions across defence and national security. This hands-on role takes products from 0 to 1 and deploys software into highly secure, air‑gapped environments.

You will own deployments end to end, adapt cloud-native apps to Kubernetes, OpenShift, and on‑prem environments, and work across GCP, Terraform, Docker and CI/CD. Active DV clearance is essential.

Qualifications

• Active DV clearance is essential.
• Experience delivering into defence or highly restricted environments is highly desirable.
• Strong 0-to-1 product experience with ownership of deployments from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own deployments end to end from requirements to handover.
• Adapt cloud-native apps to Kubernetes, OpenShift, on-prem and air-gapped environments.
• Work across GCP, Terraform, Docker and CI/CD pipelines; stay hands-on with full-stack development and production debugging.
