Shirley Parsons is partnering with a leading infrastructure and highways organisation to recruit a Principal Environmental Consultant who will shape environmental strategy and lead technical delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects.

You will direct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) activities, advise senior stakeholders and mentor consultants while driving carbon reduction, biodiversity and climate resilience initiatives within a growing consultancy function.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering environmental solutions across infrastructure, construction or highways projects.
• Expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment and planning.
• Strong strategic thinking with commercial awareness.
• Proven mentoring and leadership of teams.
• Chartered environmental professional status.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental Strategy on landmark infrastructure projects.
• Provide senior-level environmental advice across EIA, planning, sustainability and compliance.
• Drive carbon, biodiversity and climate resilience initiatives.
• Shape and grow the growing consultancy environmental function.
• Influence senior stakeholders, regulators and clients to shape project strategy.
