Job Description:

Join AECOM as a Principal Environmental Consultant (EIA) in Chesterfield, UK, and play a key role in managing environmental inputs to infrastructure projects. You will work with a team of over 165 environmental experts across the UK and Ireland, contributing to projects aligned with ESG strategies and holding IEMA EIA Quality Mark accreditation.

Our flexible, hybrid working model allows you to work from various offices including Chesterfield, and others across the UK, or remotely. You will be involved in diverse projects such as energy generation, transmission, rail, highways, regeneration, and sectors like ecommerce, water, and defense.

Your responsibilities include managing environmental assessments, ensuring quality standards, project management, collaborating with design teams, maintaining client relationships, and supporting business development. You should have experience in environmental consultancy, a strong understanding of EIA processes, and relevant qualifications, preferably a Master’s degree and professional membership. Willingness to travel is required.
