Job summary

You will scale core data pipelines, integrate across the PANW product ecosystem, and deliver security value to thousands of global customers. The role emphasizes robust backend design and leadership in data solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical software engineering experience.
• 5+ years building large-scale enterprise applications and high-availability data APIs.
• Proficiency in Java (core backend) and RESTful API design.
• Experience with major cloud providers (GCP preferred or AWS).
• Experience with Python for data manipulation; Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Strong grasp of SQL, NoSQL, Time-series and GraphDB.
• Experience operating within Kubernetes (K8s) environments and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end development of backend features and core components, from architecture to deployment and maintenance.
• Design and optimize high-throughput ETL/ELT pipelines transforming threat data into actionable intelligence.
• Build and maintain data warehouses and scalable APIs powering researchers.
