Job summary

WSP’s Structures Investigation Group (SIG) is expanding and seeks a Principal Engineer to lead a range of investigations and reports across the UK. You will determine condition, cause, extent of deterioration and plan actions, mentoring junior staff and coordinating resources to meet client briefs.

Collaborate with senior engineers, liaise with clients and stakeholders, ensure quality, safety and timely delivery, with opportunities to work on landmark projects internationally.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Membership of a Professional Institution such as ICE, IStruct E or similar.
• Experience in management and delivery of Design and Build Contracts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed studies and inspection reports of engineered structures across the UK.
• Identify and prioritise structural investigations, plan, execute and report site works.
• Mentor junior staff and support technical development within the team.
