Stantec is seeking a Principal Engineer to join its Scottish Roads and Infrastructure team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will lead the technical delivery of varied road and active travel projects, guiding clients and multidisciplinary teams across the UK to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Experienced roads and infrastructure professional with strong delivery skills.
• Able to lead the design of road and active travel infrastructure.
• In-depth understanding of engineering principles and design standards (CDM/BIM).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of roads and active travel projects from concept to delivery.
• Manage projects through lifecycle and engage with Local Authorities and Design & Build Contractors.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and apprentices to grow the team.
