Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical and EICA designs across a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Scotland. The role is based in Edinburgh or Glasgow with flexible hybrid working.

You will take ownership of design packages from concept through to construction support, guiding teams and collaborating with clients and contractors.

Formación

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or IEng, or actively working towards professional registration.
• Established experience delivering electrical or EICA design within the water, utilities, or heavy infrastructure sectors.
• Proven ability to take ownership of technical design packages across complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Sound knowledge of electrical engineering standards, design software, and UK regulatory frameworks.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and client-facing skills.
• Experience supporting or mentoring graduate and junior engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver electrical and EICA designs across a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater infrastructure projects for Scottish Water.
• Take ownership of design packages from concept through to construction support.
• Develop, review, and verify key outputs (SLDs, Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams, specifications, control philosophies) with project managers, clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Guide early-career engineers and share technical knowledge across the discipline, promoting innovation and best practice.
