Job Description:

Title: Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop functional control and instrumentation solutions for vehicle systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to oversee delivery and strategy.
• Support assurance activities with the Office of the Chief Engineer.
• Manage project progress using agile tools.
• Guide the engineering team, developing their skills and solutions.
• Engage with legacy systems and ensure compliance with standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in designing large-scale C&I systems, meeting various standards.
• Knowledge of non-functional requirements and industrial compliance.
• Proficiency in technical documentation such as I/O schedules, design specifications, and interface documents.
• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, Maths, or Science.
• Understanding of control system architecture and communication protocols (e.g., RS-485, PROFIBUS).
• Experience with IEC 61508 or similar functional safety standards.
• Background with maneuvering systems across industries.
