Arthian Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our UK team as an Energy Engineer focused on decarbonisation and energy projects. The role offers opportunities to deliver low-carbon heat, heat networks, EPC models, and on-site renewables across public and private sectors.

You will lead multidisciplinary projects, mentor colleagues, and drive business development while ensuring environmental compliance and budget adherence. Travel across the UK and overseas may be required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering energy or decarbonisation programmes across sectors.
• Ability to translate technical analysis into investable programmes.
• Understanding of heat networks, retrofit at scale, and estate decarbonisation.
• ESOS Lead Assessor experience or active environmental compliance surveying.
• Background in engineering, building services, energy management, or infrastructure.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems and safety considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on low-carbon heat, heat networks, EPC models and on-site renewables.
• Lead delivery of renewable and generation projects (wind, solar, battery, storage).
• Mentor and share knowledge within Energy Engineering Team.
• Support bid and proposal writing and manage project budgets and risk.
• Develop new opportunities in decarbonisation and generation markets.
• Build and maintain client relationships across public and private sectors.
• Contribute to new service lines, sectors, and technology offers.
