Babcock is seeking a Principal Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer at our Stoke Gifford, Bristol site with hybrid working. You will be the technical authority for EMC activities within Naval Nuclear, leading EMC testing and support on complex defence programmes.

As a Principal Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll be the technical authority for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) activities within our Naval Nuclear business. Working on complex and cutting-edge defence programmes, you'll lead the delivery of EMC support and testing activities that help ensure some of the UK's most important naval platforms remain safe, compliant, and mission ready.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise, leadership, and innovation in a role where your work directly supports national security. You'll collaborate with engineers, technical specialists, and Ministry of Defence stakeholders while helping to drive continuous improvement and the future growth of EMC capability across the business.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based at Babcock Technology Centre, Bristol. Hybrid working patterns are available
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
