Stantec Inc. is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in multiple UK locations.
You will lead electrical and EICA design delivery for major water projects, providing technical guidance and coordinating multidisciplinary designs across lifecycle stages from feasibility to construction support. The role requires Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, a strong delivery track record, and excellent stakeholder engagement.
We're looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our growing Water team, based in Birmingham, Redditch, Derby, Bristol, Cardiff or Exeter . This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role within our EICA capability, delivering complex engineering solutions, influencing technical excellence and supporting the continued growth of our Electrical Engineering teams across the Midlands and South West. You'll work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment where you can:
You will be responsible for developing and reviewing electrical design solutions, ensuring technical quality, compliance and best practice are maintained throughout project delivery. Working closely with Project Managers, discipline leads, clients, contractors and supply chain partners, you will help coordinate multidisciplinary designs, resolve technical challenges and deliver solutions that meet operational, environmental and regulatory requirements. You will also play an important role in supporting the development of engineers within the team through mentoring, knowledge sharing and providing technical guidance, while contributing to the continued improvement of Stantec's Electrical Engineering capability.
