EXPEDITE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LIMITED in Birmingham city centre is seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join our growing MEP team. The role focuses on delivering electrical design solutions across building services and healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.

You will lead designs, mentor junior engineers, manage client relationships and collaborate with internal disciplines and external consultants, with hybrid/flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a consultancy environment
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Chartered or working towards chartership (desirable)

We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join our growing MEP team in our centrally located Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation across the built environment.

You will join a diverse team working across Building Services, Civil & Structural Engineering, Project Services, Architecture, Safety, Interiors, and Planning .

About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering electrical design solutions on a wide range of projects across sectors including commercial, education, residential, and healthcare. The role will involve leading designs, managing client relationships, mentoring junior engineers and growing the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specification of electrical building services systems
• Leading projects and managing project delivery from concept to completion
