Job summary

Blackedge Consulting is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead complex Data Centre designs from concept to completion. You will provide technical direction across a portfolio of building and infrastructure projects and drive outcomes with strong client engagement.

You will mentor senior engineers, shape project strategies, and help grow the team and business while maintaining industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Qualification in an Engineering discipline (BEng/BSc/HND/HNC).
• Extensive experience delivering complex Data Centre design projects.
• Strong knowledge of applicable regulations, standards, and engineering best practices.
• Proficient with Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and influence project outcomes across varied building and infrastructure schemes.
• Lead, coach and develop engineering teams to deliver high-quality designs.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Oversee delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring scope, budget and schedule alignment.

What You'll Bring
