Job summary

Pangea is recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer in London to lead the day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design services for data centre and mission-critical projects. You will develop initial strategic concepts, ensure compliance with briefs and regulatory standards, and provide client-facing support across meetings and requirements communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Mission Critical/Data Centre projects.
• Experience using Revit, BIM, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux in a consultant/design environment.
• Strong client/contractor/architect liaison and leadership in projects.

We are recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client.

Overview of the role

• Lead the day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design services for data centre and mission-critical projects
• Develop initial strategic concepts, ensuring solutions meet the brief and relevant regulatory standards
• Provide client-facing support: attend meetings, respond to needs, and communicate requirements to the project team
• Support commercial delivery by helping monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered
• Mentor and support apprentices, graduates, and "next gen" professionals

Required experience and skills

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer (or closely related), delivering Mission Critical/Data Centre projects
• Strong technical delivery processes and experience using tools such as Revit, BIM, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux
• Demonstrable experience working with clients/contractors/architects in a consultant/design environment
• A supportive leadership style, with experience helping others grow in knowledge and confidence
