Job summary

Waterman Group in Manchester is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design of Building Services projects across sectors including commercial, residential and education. You will mentor engineers, drive technical delivery and coordinate with clients and other disciplines to deliver innovative, compliant solutions.

The role offers leadership across projects, with focus on quality, budget and programme management, Chartered Engineer status being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within a Building Services/MEP consultancy.
• Strong experience designing electrical systems for buildings.
• Experience leading projects and technical delivery.
• Good understanding of budgets, programmes and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and delivery of building services projects from concept through to completion.
• Develop electrical designs and specifications for a range of building types and sectors.
• Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines and attend client meetings.
• Review and check work to ensure high technical quality; support bids and client relationships.
