We’re hiring a Principal EC&I Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering business in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead complex projects across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and delivery of EC&I systems for multi-disciplinary engineering projects
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications
  • Oversee project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, process, and civil engineers
  • Degree-qualified in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) preferred
  • Proven experience in a senior EC&I role within consultancy or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and electrical design
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
