Job description

We have a brand-new opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our MEP division based in our London office.

It's an exciting time to join our London MEP team, with ambitious growth plans over the next 12 months. As a Principal, you will be empowered to mentor and grow your own team, with opportunities for rapid development and progression. Our London team benefits from a central location near Borough Market and the Shard, working on diverse projects including defence, healthcare, data centres, and commercial/residential sectors.

Your role will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the electrical disciplines within the multidisciplinary MEP team.
• Leading projects, ensuring technical excellence and financial profitability.
• Building relationships with clients, project managers, and architects, and identifying opportunities for multidisciplinary involvement.

Our MEP division:

Specialists in energy, sustainability, and engineering design, creating high-performance environments across sectors such as commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage, and residential.

• Building performance optimization
• Carbon verification and validation strategies
• Daylight and sunlight studies
• Sustainability benchmarking and environmental assessments
• Strategic utility management services

To succeed, you will need:

• Relevant qualifications (HNC, HND, Bachelors, Masters), and ideally chartered status.
• Experience as a Principal or Senior Electrical Engineer on UK building services projects.
• Knowledge of BIM, Revit, and IES/Amtech.
