Do you consider yourself a highly-experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong knowledge of the Renewable Energy or Building Services sectors and want to join a leading business where you can leave your mark on some of the largest projects of their kind in the UK?

This company has hundreds of employees spread across the UK and have established themselves as a leading EPC business within the Renewable Energy and Sustainability sectors, with projects covering things such as District Heating schemes as well as commercial and industrial-scale Solar PV and Heat Pump installations. Off the back of a significant amount of investment in recent months, they are looking to continue growing to solidify their already strong position in the industry.

In this role you will be playing a leading role in the delivery of major District Heating and other Renewable Energy projects for both public and private sector clients at sites such as universities, hospitals and public transport centres. You will have oversight of a dedicated team of Electrical Engineers who produce designs, diagrams, schematics and calculations for projects and then support throughout project delivery with tasks such as equipment selection and contractor management.

The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree level in Electrical Engineering and will have at least 5 years' experience in the Renewable Energy, Power Generation, Power Transmission or Building Services sectors where they have worked in a senior-level role and held some leadership responsibilities.

The Role:
* Taking a leading role in Electrical Engineering activities across project lifecycle, covering everything from initial concept through to tendering and then to construction
* Overseeing work of junior and intermediate Electrical Engineers
* Reviewing site investigations, site surveys and client requirements
* Responsible for electrical design work covering things such as equipment & cable sizing, lighting design, building services design and plantroom/substation layouts
* Reviewing client requirements and inputting into relevant equipment selection
* Supporting with business development, bid and tender activities
* Assessing lifecycle costs and cost implications
* Ensuring projects are carried out in line with specifications and regulations

The Person:
* Educated to Degree level in Electrical Engineering
* 5+ Years experience in relevant discipline Heating, HVAC, Power Infrastructure, Renewables etc
* Chartered status or close to achieving this
* Experience with Trimble MEP software (advantageous)
* Strong understanding of electrical building services design
