The Principal Electrical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for leading electrical design and engineering activities across a variety of building and infrastructure projects. This role involves overseeing the development of electrical schemes, including power distribution and power systems, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, codes, and client requirements. The Principal Electrical Engineer will manage project delivery from concept through detailed design, coordinate with mechanical and public health engineers, and collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to produce integrated MEP solutions. Day-to-day duties include reviewing and approving calculations and drawings, guiding junior engineers and technicians, performing technical reviews, and resolving design challenges to ensure buildable and energy‑efficient solutions.
