As a result of our growing portfolio of projects in the Water Sector, we are actively seeking Electrical Engineers, Senior Electrical Engineers, and Principal Electrical Engineers to join our team in the Midlands and West.

These roles can be based out of our Exeter, Bristol, or Cardiff offices in the West or Birmingham, Derby, or Redditch in the Midlands. You will grow our reputation within the local community and Water Business by providing EICA design services for a range of projects.

As part of multidisciplinary teams, you will be involved in projects from optioneering/concept design through to outline and detailed design. In your role, you will also be involved with feasibility studies, site surveys, and site investigations.

As an experienced EICA Engineer, you will work in multidisciplinary teams and liaise with project managers, design managers, design engineers, as well as clients, supply chain partners, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the projects and community.

About You

You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with a Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related subject. You will ideally be Chartered or Incorporated with several years of experience and a background in EICA engineering design.

You will be experienced in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, EICA schedules and drawings, and reports, and be familiar with developing design solutions.

You will be able to produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, and Network Infrastructure Diagrams, as well as providing engineering input to other engineering disciplines to enable the development of multidisciplinary outputs such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong communication skills and an ability to deliver technical presentations to clients and other design engineers, as well as inputting into collaborative design discussions including technical workshops, HAZOPs, and ALMs.

Experience in the Water sector is an advantage, but we would also be interested in speaking with candidates with experience in the energy, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.
