Opportunity Overview

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer passionate about creating sustainable solutions? Join Stantec to help address climate, environmental, and efficiency challenges faced by communities. We are considering potential Principal Electrical Engineers for our team in the South West and Midlands, with roles based in Exeter, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Derby, or Redditch.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop EICA solutions for water projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage with Project Managers, Design Managers, clients, and stakeholders from concept to detailed design, feasibility studies, site surveys, and investigations.
• Produce technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, drawings, and reports.
• Develop multidisciplinary outputs, including single-line diagrams, network infrastructure diagrams, and 3D models.
• Provide engineering input and technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Chartered or Incorporated status preferred.
• Experience in EICA design, technical specifications, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Proficiency in producing technical diagrams and understanding of DSEAR regulations is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, capable of delivering presentations and participating in technical workshops.
• Experience in water sector or related sectors like energy, infrastructure, or environmental engineering.
