P&M Recruitment, partnering with a respected Building Services Consultancy, seeks a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead multiple projects from concept through to completion in a fully remote setting. You will drive technical excellence, shape department practices, and collaborate with MEPS engineers on prestigious developments.

Lead design teams, review critical reports, and maintain high standards while autonomously managing workload.

Formación

• Proven experience within a Building Services Consultancy environment.
• Strong background delivering electrical designs for residential and high-rise developments.
• Extensive technical knowledge of building services electrical engineering.
• Expertise in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, life safety systems and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Riba Stages 4–7 design and project coordination.
• Previous experience leading projects and managing engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work autonomously.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status desirable but not essential.

P&M Recruitment is partnering with a highly respected Building Services Consultancy to appoint a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to support the continued growth of their electrical design team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a technically accomplished Electrical Engineer who is looking for more than just another design role. Working within a fully remote environment, you will enjoy the flexibility to manage your workload while leading the electrical design of complex residential and high–rise developments from concept through to completion.

The Opportunity

As Principal Electrical Design Engineer, you will take ownership of multiple projects and act as the technical authority for all electrical design matters.

The business is seeking an individual who can combine strong leadership skills with outstanding technical capability. You will be trusted to make decisions, drive technical excellence and help shape best practices across the wider engineering team.

This role provides the freedom to make a genuine impact while working alongside highly experienced Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineers on a range of prestigious developments.
