Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Principal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant to influence major UK infrastructure, water, and energy projects. You will lead EIA workstreams, coordinate diverse teams, and guide clients through consent and sustainable development pathways.

You’ll work on renewable energy, hydrogen, and nationally significant schemes, mentoring talents and shaping project strategy within a collaborative, hybrid-working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering EIAs on infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental assessment methodologies and UK legislation.
• Experience with UK planning and consenting frameworks (DCO, TCP).

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessment and consenting workstreams.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Provide strategic advice to clients and shape project outcomes.
• Develop and maintain client relationships across projects.
