Job summary

BCP Council is seeking a HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist to lead the Educational Psychology Service at a pivotal stage of its development. You will provide strategic leadership, shape practice, and drive innovative approaches across Children’s Services.

Working with schools, families and partners, you’ll oversee service development, quality assurance and commissioning, while building robust collaborations and ensuring inclusive, evidence‑based support for children and young people.

Qualifications

• Qualified and HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist with leadership experience.
• Ability to build relationships across services and organisations.
• Experience leading through change and using data to inform decisions.
• Knowledge of financial and budget management and commitment to inclusion.
