Renesas is seeking an experienced Principal EDA/CAD Engineer to provide technical leadership for its global engineering compute and design-data-management environment. The role blends hands-on CAD engineering with responsibility for compute infrastructure, Perforce/IPLM-based data management, project/workspace methodologies, automation and training.

Qualificações

• Significant experience in EDA/CAD engineering or semiconductor design infrastructure.
• Strong Linux/Unix and scripting skills.
• Experience with Perforce Helix and IPLM.
• Ability to work across engineering and IT teams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for engineering compute infrastructure and CAD environments.
• Support development of Linux-based engineering environments.
• Define requirements for compute, storage and supporting engineering infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to meet semiconductor design needs.
• Support migration and consolidation of legacy environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and environments.
• Own Perforce Helix and IPLM-based design-data-management practices.
• Develop scalable workflows for IP creation, versioning and lifecycle management.
• Create reusable project/workspace environments and Cadence configurations.
• Automate engineering environment and data-management workflows.
• Produce technical documentation and user guides; deliver training.
• Contribute to the roadmap for engineering compute and data-management infrastructure.
