Qualifications

• Ability to manage individual workloads while providing clear, competent advice to clients and internal teams.
• Experience supporting or developing a Building Regulations Principal Designer service.
• Confident, proactive communicator comfortable engaging with clients and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Comply with responsibilities of the Principal Designer under Building Regulations.
• Lead Building Regulations Principal Designer commissions, including coordination and reporting.
• Review and comment on design risk and compliance documentation.
• Produce and update compliance risk registers.
• Oversee reviews of design packages and ensure Building Regulations compliance.
• Conduct periodic site inspections as required.
