We are seeking a dedicated PD CDM/ Safety Consultant to join our small but expanding team. The PD/CDM Consultant will be responsible for ensuring compliance and assisting a varied number of clients in the construction industry. The role will will Hybrid with office/home and site attendance required.

Key Attributes and Skills required:

• Providing advice and helping clients fulfil their CDM duties
• Deliver role of principal designer (CDM 2015)
• Preparing and submitting F10s
• Design risk management and liaison with design teams to identify key hazards
• Identification and collation of pre construction information
• Liaison with the construction team to ensure that there is an ongoing exchange of health and safety information
• Preparation of health and safety files
• Assessment and preparation of construction phase health and safety plans
• Site health and safety inspections
• Assisting Principal Contractors and Contractors in H&S compliance
• Manage workload as account manager to own clients
• Preparation of method statements and risk assessment
• Ideally you will have relevant experience within the construction industry. Design risk management skills and PD/CDM professional qualifications are essential.
• NEBOSH General Certificate and/or Construction Certificate or higher are desirable along with excellent communication skills and a determination to succeed. A full driving licence and own transport is essential as some travel will be required
• CMaPS and or CMIOSH qualifications (or working towards)
• CPP and RAMS reviews
• RAMS writing for construction activities
• Problem solving and ability to work on own initiative essential
• Minimum 3 years in construction safety role previously
