Job Description:

We are urgently seeking an experienced Principal Designer (Building Regulations) for a full-time position in London. The role involves managing the design and delivery of large-scale office, workspace, commercial, and mixed-use developments, focusing on Building Regulations compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Architecture, Engineering, Design, Health and Safety, or Project Management, with over 8 years of experience in project delivery as a Principal Designer.

Responsibilities include:

1. Planning, managing, and monitoring Building Regulations compliance.
2. Managing health and safety aspects during the pre-construction phase, including risk assessment and mitigation.
3. Gathering and providing pre-construction information to designers and contractors.
4. Maintaining Health and Safety Files.
5. Ensuring compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
6. Liaising with the Principal Contractor.
