Job summary

D7 Recruitment is seeking a UK-based Principal Designer (CDM) for a permanent health and safety consultancy role. The position is largely remote with nationwide travel, and site visits typically around once a month.

You will coordinate health and safety during design and pre-construction, advising clients and design teams to manage risks early and keep projects moving. You'll work with multiple projects across the UK, balance a flexible diary, and travel as required.

We're recruiting a UK based Principal Designer (CDM) for a permanent role with a health and safety consultancy. Salary is up to £75,000, with flexibility for the right person. The role is mostly remote, with national travel and site visits typically around once a month.

The Role

You'll coordinate health and safety during the design and pre-construction stages, helping project teams identify risks early and address them through the design. You'll work closely with clients, designers and contractors, providing practical advice and keeping projects moving.

Projects are located across the UK. You'll manage your own diary, with travel planned around project needs.

What we're looking for:
