Freedom Electrical Design seeks a professional Principal Design Engineer (Overhead Line) to join our expanding team. You will work on complex engineering projects supporting the UK’s Net Zero targets, covering the entire energy system from generation to end consumers.
This role offers a pathway to become Head of OHL Design within 1-2 years as the company grows. The position starts at Principal OHL Engineer, aligned with our organizational grading.
You may be based in Leeds, Stowmarket, or London, with options for remote work. Travel will be required for client meetings, team collaborations, or site visits.
We seek motivated self-starters eager to face challenges and grow the organization’s technical capabilities through leadership.
Strong project management, budgeting skills, and knowledge of design and construction contracts like NEC are essential.
