MCS Group is seeking a Technical Lead for a well-established technology business in Belfast. This newly created leadership role offers real ownership across people, delivery and technical direction, and the chance to mentor and grow a talented team of engineers in a fast-moving environment.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Product and Engineering, helping improve ways of working, influence engineering practices and drive high-quality delivery in a hybrid Belfast setting.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial software engineering background.
• Experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails and/or React.
• Previous experience managing or leading engineering teams.
• Strong technical understanding and comfortable contributing to technical discussions and code reviews.
• Experience working closely with Product and other stakeholders.
• Passion for mentoring and developing engineers.
• Based within commuting distance of Belfast.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment.

I'm currently working with a well-established technology business that is looking to hire an Engineering Manager to join their Belfast team.

This is a newly created role within a growing engineering function, offering the opportunity to take real ownership across people, delivery and technical direction.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Product and Engineering, helping improve ways of working, supporting delivery and developing a talented team of engineers.

What we're looking for
