Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Programme Advisory professional to lead mobilisation and delivery of major transformational projects within a collaborative UK-wide team. You will develop governance, advise on business transformations, and drive improvements in programme efficiencies.

You will build relationships with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and mentor junior colleagues while delivering high‑quality solutions in dynamic environments. Strong PMO and certification credentials are valued.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading mobilisation and delivery of major transformational projects and PMOs.
  • Proven ability to develop and document best practices, processes, and guidance for programme teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to facilitate workshops.
  • Analytical mindset for data collection, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Proactive in delivering high‑quality solutions in evolving environments.
  • Track record of leading or supporting change initiatives with tangible outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mobilisation and delivery across major transformational projects and PMOs.
  • Develop and document PMO best practices and governance.
  • Provide strategic advice on business transformations and portfolio management.

About You
  • Ability to contribute across the full programme lifecycle, leading mobilisation and delivery of major transformational projects and PMOs.
  • Expertise in developing and documenting best practices, processes, and guidance for programme teams and PMOs (e.g., PMO Handbooks).
  • Experience providing strategic advice on business transformations, maturity assessments, organisational design, portfolio management, P3M recovery, and improving programme efficiencies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, building relationships with key stakeholders and facilitating effective workshops.
  • Analytical thinking to collect, organise, and analyse data, ensuring accurate reporting and recommendations.
  • Proactive initiative in delivering high‑quality solutions in complex and evolving environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading or supporting change initiatives with tangible, positive outcomes.
  • Technical excellence in your area of expertise, delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • Business development capabilities to enhance the AtkinsRéalis brand and build client connections.
  • Leadership experience, supporting junior team members’ professional development.
  • Professional certifications such as APM PMQ/PPQ/ChPP, MoP, MSP, PRINCE2, PROSCI, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar qualifications.
