Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Principal Consultant - Workplace to help shape and deliver modern workplace technology across UK clients. Location is flexible within the UK base with regular travel; security clearance is required.

As an IT Expert Principal within Platforms, you’ll lead complex engagements across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity, security and device management, influencing strategy and guiding technical teams with confidence.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise end-user computing and Microsoft 365, ideally within client-facing consultancy.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune and endpoint management across Windows, Apple and Android.
• Experience with Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Windows 11, Autopilot and Microsoft 365 security.
• Knowledge of Jamf and/or Workspace ONE.
• Experience designing secure solutions aligned to frameworks such as CIS, Cyber Essentials, NIST or NCSC.
• Strong experience leading technical teams and customer engagements.
• Presales experience, including solution design, bids and estimation.
• Strong PowerShell and/or Microsoft Graph skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of large-scale modern workplace solutions.
• Shape customer strategies and technology roadmaps.
• Lead technical teams and assure the quality of solution delivery.
• Design solutions across Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Lead presales engagements, solution design, bids and effort estimates.
• Run customer workshops and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Identify and manage technical risks across complex projects.
• Mentor consultants and contribute to technical standards and best practice.
