Job overview

Are you a registered nurse or about to qualify? Do you want an exciting job with great career potential? Do you aspire to make a positive contribution to nursing in the community?

The community nursing team across Peterborough offers full-time and part-time opportunities within CPFT. We provide a service several days a week, working closely with other community services and PCNs to deliver high-standard holistic care to the population of Peterborough. You will have opportunities for personal development through extensive learning and development programs.

Main duties of the job

Please note: For this role, you must be able to travel independently around the county to meet strict deadlines. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required. Public transport is not suitable for this role due to reliability issues. Please confirm in your application that you meet these criteria.

As a community staff nurse, you will work autonomously within the multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality nursing care and interventions within patients' homes, supported by the wider team. Your focus will be on patient-centered care, involving patients and carers in decision-making. You will be responsible for assessing, interpreting, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments within professional guidelines. You will also have opportunities to support and educate peers, new staff, and students.
