Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Principal / Associate Civil Engineer in the UK with strong leadership to drive project delivery across regeneration, education, commercial and infrastructure sectors.

You will own projects from feasibility through design to construction, mentoring engineers and coordinating with clients, architects and regulators. A senior role with significant autonomy and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in a UK civil engineering consultancy.
• Strong background in infrastructure, drainage and development-related civil engineering.
• Ability to review technical work and provide clear direction to others.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Lead the design of highways, external works, levels, earthworks and site infrastructure.
• Develop drainage strategies with SuDS, foul and surface water drainage solutions.
• Manage projects, programmes, resources, fees and deliverables.
• Review and sign off technical work produced by engineers and technicians.
• Provide direction and technical support to project teams.
