AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to lead and deliver innovative, sustainable infrastructure across transport, energy, water, and development projects. You will contribute to technical leadership, design management, and people leadership within a collaborative, high‑performing team.

The role offers broad project exposure with opportunity to progress, working in a hybrid model (3 days office/site).

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or equivalent.
• Experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions across a diverse project portfolio.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple disciplines to develop integrated and sustainable outcomes.
• Support project delivery from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
• Contribute to innovation and the adoption of new technologies.
• Identify opportunities that create additional value for clients and communities.
