Job summary

Emtech Recruitment has partnered with a leading engineering consultancy to appoint a Principal Civil Engineer in Leeds. This is a senior role within a multidisciplinary team, responsible for technical leadership on a wide range of built-environment projects and for mentoring junior engineers.

You will design and deliver complex schemes, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and help drive growth of the Leeds team while upholding high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Significant experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Producing and overseeing technical designs, calculations and specifications.
• Mentoring junior engineers and guiding the project team.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure delivery.
• Managing project delivery, priorities and resources.
• Maintaining high technical and quality standards.
