Are you an ambitious Civil Design Engineer ready to step into a role with real responsibility?

I'm working with a leading multi-disciplinary design consultancy in Central London who are looking to appoint a Principal Civil Design Engineer to join their well-established and growing team.

The Role

As a Principal/Senior Civil Engineer, you'll take the lead on technical design and delivery of civil engineering projects - primarily focused on residential developments.

You will be one of the technical leads in a well established civils team of 6, reporting to the Technical Manager/Director.

You'll be responsible for:

• Designing drainage, highways, and earthworks schemes
• Overseeing project delivery from concept to construction
• Mentoring junior engineers and supporting graduate development
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical excellence

What You'll Need

• Proven experience in a similar civil engineering design role
• Strong technical capability, particularly in MicroDrainage (essential)
• Proficiency in Civil 3D (advantageous)
• A clear understanding of UK design standards and approvals processes
