Expedia Group is seeking a senior, hands‑on Principal Designer to set the standard for design across Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo. You will shape brand narratives, push the studio's visual identity, and balance speed with craft in a high‑volume environment.

You will report to the Creative Director and lead world‑class design and motion across campaigns and brand touchpoints, while exploring AI and new tools to unlock creative possibilities for our brands.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in design with senior‑level in in‑house brand studios, agencies or consultancies.
• Portfolio shows exceptional craft across brand identity, campaigns and digital work.
• Strong motion design skills and understanding of how motion shapes identity.
• Hands‑on experience with generative and AI tools such as Comfy, Weave, Midjourney, Flora, Adobe Firefly or Runway.
• Strong understanding of brand systems and keeping work consistent at scale.
• Experience presenting creative to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to balance creative ambition with deadlines, budgets and priorities.

• Start with the idea, turning strategy into compelling brand narratives with strong storytelling.
• Lead through craft, delivering world‑class design and motion from concept to final delivery.
• Shape the studio's visual direction and craft standards across brands, including AI value.
• Own the brand's visual identity across Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo.
• Build reusable templates, toolkits and workflows, including AI‑driven ones.
• Mentor designers and motion designers and guide freelance/agency partners.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and collaborate across marketing, product and teams.
• Push the craft forward by piloting new tools and technologies.
