Job summary

Strata Consulting is seeking a Principal BIM Technician to join our Cardiff or Bristol team. You will lead BIM strategy, shape digital delivery, and guide engineers and technicians across a varied project portfolio including commercial, healthcare, residential and data centre schemes.

You will champion BIM processes, standards and workflows while collaborating with senior management to drive improvements and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as BIM Technician or Senior BIM Technician in a design engineering consultancy.
• Strong technical capability with Autodesk Revit; Civil 3D and Tekla Structures advantageous.
• Deep understanding of BIM processes, information management and digital delivery.
• Experience developing BIM standards, templates and workflows.
• Ability to coordinate models across multidisciplinary teams and drive improvements.
• Confident communicator; able to mentor engineers and technicians.
