Job summary

Columbus is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale solutions across Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 FSCM. You will shape end-to-end integration architectures, guide delivery teams, and work with customers and stakeholders to drive success.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, hybrid working, and travel to client sites or Columbus offices as required. A strong background in FSCM integration and Azure is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong architecture and technical leadership experience, including guiding delivery teams and reviewing solution designs.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure application and integration services (Service Bus, API Management, Functions, Logic Apps, App Services).
• Experience designing integration solutions using enterprise integration patterns, APIs, messaging and event-driven approaches.
• Good understanding of identity, security, networking and non-functional requirements in Azure solutions.
• Solid knowledge of Dynamics 365 FSCM and its core business processes (finance, order management, inventory, warehousing, production).
• Familiarity with FSCM integration approaches (OData, data entities, DMF, business events).
• Significant customer-facing consultancy, partner or professional services experience.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, commercially aware approach.
• Full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Azure and D365 FSCM integrations.
• Provide technical leadership and review solution designs with delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Engage with customers and senior stakeholders to shape end-to-end solutions across the Microsoft stack.
• Travel to client sites as required and support hybrid working arrangements.
