Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited seeks a Principal Applied Scientist to define and drive the science vision across brand safety, suitability and risk, operating at a billions-scale ad impression level in Amazon Advertising.

You will lead a team of applied scientists, collaborate with engineering, influence product strategy and publish in top venues, shaping privacy-preserving and safety technologies for advertisers worldwide.

Formación

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, ML, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Experience leading scientists and research teams at scale.
• Strong publication record in top ML/AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, KDD, WWW, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR).

Responsabilidades

• Define multi-year science vision for brand safety, suitability, and risk hunting.
• Influence modeling frameworks across safety, MFA detection, viewability, and 3P integrations; bridge science and engineering.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing team of applied scientists and research engineers; publish and experiment rapidly.
• Partner with engineering to build low-latency, production-scale systems serving billions of requests daily.
• Translate science capabilities into advertiser-facing products and quantify business impact.
• Represent Amazon in industry forums and anticipate regulatory/privacy shifts.
