Job summary

Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited seeks an Applied Scientist to shape the next generation of AI-powered Brand Safety and Content Classification systems. You will build systems that make millisecond-level decisions across billions of signals, continuously adapting to emerging risks in real-time.

You will own the science strategy for multimodal evaluation, adversarial ML, and semantic understanding, working at internet scale with production-grade ML and large language models.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in CS/CE/ML or related field.
• Experience publishing at top-tier conferences/journals.

Responsibilities

• Own the science strategy for AI-powered brand safety and content classification.
• Build and deploy LLM-powered content classification with real-time decisions at scale.
• Develop multimodal evaluation pipelines across text, images, audio, and video.
• Design adaptive ML systems resilient to adversarial evolution and concept drift.
• Translate research to production — prototype to deployed model path.
• Publish at peer-reviewed venues; contribute to adversarial ML and NLP.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate experiments into Amazon production systems.
