Job summary

Lift Shafton is seeking a senior leader to set the school's direction, improve teaching and outcomes, and build on a strong early years offer, with a newly opened nursery and rich enrichment opportunities.

You will lead a collaborative staff team, work with the Lift Schools network, and ensure every child experiences excellent academic and co-curricular opportunities through a supportive leadership model.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience with a proven track record of raising outcomes.
• Strong understanding of curriculum, teaching and learning.
• Ability to develop people and build a high-performing culture.
• Ability to build strong relationships with families and the wider community.

Job description

This is the principal post at Lift Shafton, a primary school in the Lift Schools network of 62 schools. The job centres on setting the school's direction, improving teaching and outcomes for every child, and building on a strong early years offer. What sets it apart is a newly opened nursery, a rich enrichment offer and access to Trust support and collaboration with other Lift leaders. Applicants need senior leadership experience with a record of raising outcomes, and visa sponsorship is not available.
