Citi Belfast is seeking a client-focused Markets Operations professional to support front-office, compliance, legal, finance and HR through robust operational processing.

The role offers a global perspective with a local Belfast presence, a hybrid work model (up to 2 days at home per week), and a competitive base salary with strong benefits.

• Client service skills development and exposure to clients/business.
• Develop an in depth knowledge of the products, markets and processes being supported.
• Exposure to products supported by the Prime Finance Middle Office.
• Fully proficient in the use of technology within own department.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for client/administrator operational queries; management of client activity, liaising with settlements and clients to resolve issues.
• Dealing with escalations and resolutions.
• Review client cash balances / portfolios for operational issues.
• Liaise with internal departments.
• Completion of all daily processes and controls including ad-hoc tasks.
• Driving initiatives to reduce Manual Touch Points (MTPs).
• Provide operational client support for clients.
• Support a client-focused role with high volumes and quick turnarounds, enabling innovative value-added services.

Role Overview

Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

What you’ll do
