Job summary

Purcell Architecture in London seeks a Senior Technologist with 10+ years in technical delivery for prime residential projects. You will lead BIM coordination (Revit, AutoCAD, NBS) and manage project documentation across multidisciplinary teams, working closely with contractors on site.

The role emphasizes high standards, technical problem-solving, and mentoring junior staff within an employee-owned culture that values quality and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in technical delivery stages and construction-stage project involvement within a UK architectural practice.
• Advanced proficiency in BIM, Revit, AutoCAD and NBS, with experience leading coordinated project information and technical design packages.
• Membership of CIAT or progression towards Chartered Architectural Technologist status would be advantageous.
• Proven experience delivering high-end private residential (Prime Residential) projects in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, specifications and technical compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy across project documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including structural, MEP and specialist consultants.
• Collaborate with contractors, respond to RFIs, review submissions, and resolve site-related issues.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
