Are you passionate about helping young learners build confidence and achieve their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Primary Subjects Tutor to join our team and provide engaging, high-quality tuition for children aged 5-11.

About the Role

As a Primary Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons across core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science, to support children in their academic journey. You will work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping to reinforce key learning objectives, boost confidence, and prepare them for SATs or 11+ exams where applicable.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Cambridge
• Position – one-to-one tutor
• Type of work – Contract
• Duration / Likely Duration – dependent on each student
• End date (if applicable) – N/A
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time/part time – Part time and full time depending on availability
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £25 per hour
• Hours – Working hours can vary, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
• 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
