Prospero Teaching is seeking an SEN Primary Tutor in or around Halstead to deliver 1:1 lessons based on the National Curriculum for Maths and English.

The successful candidate must be able to create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education, enhancing engagement and attainment. This role is ideal for experienced teachers seeking a more personalized and enjoyable teaching experience outside the traditional classroom setting.

Many pupils may have been out of education for some time, resulting in low confidence levels. Your role will involve re-engaging them in learning and providing structure to their daily routine.

Prospero Teaching will collaborate closely with you to monitor each pupil's progress and support effective learning.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Halstead
• Position – SEN Primary Tutor
• Type of work – Contract
• Duration – Until the student is re-integrated into school
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time/Part time – Depending on availability
• Rate of pay – £25 per hour
• Hours – Sessions range from a minimum of 1 hour to a maximum of 3 hours

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent
• At least 6 months of experience working in a UK school
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable but not essential)
